No Leaks!

Staying at Seaside this past week and we got into quite a bit of rain and wind. Wind was 55mph gusts Monday night. Rain going sideways during the day. Coming down in buckets. Not much walking time at the beach but oh the comforts of the Monty are so nice.

We were so happy to note that there are no leaks that we can see. The slide toppers were making some noise but not as much as I thought they would be. Maybe we just got used to it.

We have a dish for TV and one for the Internet - HughesNet. Both continued to perform well even in the heavy winds and rain.

Life is so good. We are happy campers!

That sounds great Dick!

I guess there is a tendency to only report problems on the MOC, which is probably misleading to readers. Great to hear a post for the positive.

Just to re enforce the positive side after 9 Months of use and some really good rain storms and driving wind we also have not a single leak. In fact this 3400 is so tight that we can create negative internal pressure by running the fantastic fan with all the windows and door shut..there by sucking sewer gas up through a defective check valve..Our old world craftsman came through again...

Our 3400 has also been tight and leak free so far. We weathered the storms on the TX Gulf Coast in Jan without problems.

I've had snow and ice sitting and melting off and on the top of my unit since the end of January and not a leak. The weather warmed up this week, so most of the ice/snow is gone, there's still about 2 inches left. Can't wait until my slide toppers pop back They did one day, until we got more snow. I'm glad I have them, as they kept all the snow off my slides.

That's great to hear. We haven't had our unit out yet (waiting for the weather to warm up) but like to hear the positives as well as the negatives.

Boy! I can't wait for Spring!

Our 3400 has been through tons of rain also. No leaks whatsoever. Very comfy in our home. Keep forgetting we are in a camper...
