Painted Dicor

Has anyone had experience putting fresh Dicor on top of original Dicor that has been painted? My unit has full body paint and when they painted the front cap, they painted the Dicor seal on the top. It still looks ok, but at some point I'm going to have to reapply it. There is one small spot I did last year and it looks like it attached with no problems.

Dicor now has black sealant, both self leveling and non-sag. https://dicorproducts.com/product/ep...ealants/#specs

Don't know if it comes in black ?, but put some eturna bond tape over the front and back seams and around all vents/skylights Etc and be done with it. They will never leak.
