leveling jacks

I want to place manual leveling jacks under my 3400RL but don'tknow where on the frame to put them so I don't mess up something. Any advice, folks?

Hi If you are talking about the scissor type support jacks, I attached two on ours just ahead of the forward tires. That way I can extend the door side without going under the slide but the other side is a different story. If I could remember to do it b4 sliding, that problem would be licked. Oh well sooner or later i'll get it right. Dan

First I do'nt owne a 3400RL but if you could find the cross braces between the frame beams and place the jacks as close to those it will help take the flex out of the I beams.

We have two mounted to the frame just behind the rear wheels. Either in front or behind should work just fine. In our case putting them in front would conflict with some other things.

If you go with scissor jacks, run the jacks all the way down and up to make sure that the long screw doesn't interfere with anything. I didn't check that and ended up sawing 3/4 inch off the screw so it wouldn't hit the dump pipe from the galley tank. I could not cut off more without risking the screw coming out of its holder. Fortunately it was enough.
