We had the same issue off and on with our 1210 from the time we bought the coach. Had a mobile tech out twice. It happened again while at the 10th National Rally. Keystone hooked us up with their HVAC people in Elkhart. An hour later it was fixed-a poor connection at the thermistor connector. Tech tightened the terminal connections and have had no trouble since. It cost me an hour labor and a brand new fish cooler to keep our groceries cold. We were grateful to find it was a minor fix.

BethandKevin, it seems to me, kind of what I'm getting, is just start at the bottom and work my way up. Thank you for the report!

I have a 2010 Model 1210. Had lots of problems but lucky was closer to home. We unload refrig and go home. After several such events and check out at a service shop. The Answer was the refrig is working fine and indeed it was. The refrig has a operating tilt (side to Side) up to 6 degrees. I realized that that I was going into a campground with a rough road and one hill was over 9. I started turning the refrig about 15 minutes before the hill and back on when leveled up.
My left freezer runs near zero when the right freeze is about 15 degrees. The slow cool down of the gas(not to confused with propane or Electrical Heat source) is a reason my next RV will have a residential.

OCBMS ... I think you left out some words in your reply, but .... the unlevelness of a gas absorbtion fridge doesn't matter while in motion going down the road as there are most always bumps, hills, and curves keeping the mixture inside the tubes from pocketing and overheating. Being overly unlevel while parked or setup is the killer. Other than more and more RV's have fridges in slides (less efficient), I don't have an answer for all the recent gas absorbtion refrigerator complaints. Like about anything else made nowdays ... quality of components and assembly is terrible. Gas absorbtion fridges have been around for many many years and have served many many RVers well.

While the thermister actually cured my problem, unlike everyone else my refrigerator was TOO COLD while even set on "1". Frozen vegetables, yogurt, beer, everything. Grocery dollars going to waste every day.

EMCS retired, thank you for that page. (I will treasure it always!
In my limited electrical understandings, I will bark up that tree soon. Good information!
