Worm Gear jammed-TV won't move 3455SA

When I try to raise the Television it doesn't move and a fuse blows. The raising mechanism is behind the fireplace and difficult to get at. Has anyone had similar problems or know how to fix it?

sounds like you will have to pull the fireplace and realign the drive. It may have jumped out of position going down the road. There could be an adjustment in there to tighten up the rack also.

Barry & Ellen,
You might want to call Lippert, the manufacturer of the lift, at 574.535.2085 and they can probably help you with a fix. You will probably need to remove the fireplace. Is the rig still under warranty?

Jack

Thanks Jack,

I will give Lippert a call. We have an extended warranty, but was hoping there was an easy fix.
