Run wire from inside to roof, without drilling

Hello! I have a 2016 Montana, 3710FL. It has what appears to me to be an access point on the roof in both the front and rear of the rig, roughly centered left to right, and about 20” back from the front and rear caps of the rig. Both have a 4-5” plastic cap that screws off. Inside there is a plastic screen and under that I see insulation and what appears to be a ‘passageway’. I am assuming/hoping these are intended to be access points to run a wire up from the rig to the roof. I am trying to run a cell signal booster antenna wire up to the roof without drilling a new hole.

Finally the question - does anyone know how to access that ‘passageway’ from inside the rig so I can run a wire through it and up to the roof?

Those are vent caps for air between the ceiling and the roof! There is no access point in the ceiling!

It's just easier to make a hole exactly where it will work best for you and you can get one of these Winegard cable entry plates that are used to bring antenna cables from a dish to inside the rig. You use the self leveling Dicor under and around the plate and screws and you will not have to worry about a leak. We had our Trav'ler dish installed over 6 years ago and a three cable entry plate was used and have never had a leak.

Thanks, Rohrmann - I think for now I’ve decided to just run the wire in through the window if/when the booster is needed. But knowing me I’ll get tired if that and end up drilling the proper hole as you’ve suggested. I’ll keep your note and link in Evernote for that time. Thanks!
