water heater check valve
Every time I would turn on the hot water the heater would hum a little tune to us. I figured it must be a valve. Sure enough it was the check valve exiting the water heater. I thought "no problem" I'll just go to hardware store and get new one. I should have known that nobody around here would have one. Called Camping World. They didn't have one in stock but think they can get me one in two weeks. Checked numerous sites on web but couldn't find a valve that looked like mine. Have any of you had to replace your check valve? Where did you find one? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Like bigmurf said a good rv store. I bought a spare for that just in case time. Don't know how far you are from Shererville Ind. but Pete's RV had them in stock or they could have you one sent to you in a couple days. I've ordered stuff from them and it would beat me to the house. Of course its a 20hr drive.

Phil, It is on the way, I have included a complete set of shear bolts for your all your slides at no cost from Sue and I.
I picked the check valve up at the warehouse, packaged it and drove it to the Post office myself.
I will P/M you with the tracking number.
Thanks!
Ozz
Here is a link to my check valve change-out on my 3400RL:
It might help a little.
