Dumb question

We recently bought our first montana 5th wheel, ours is a 2955 RL it's a 2004. We new we wanted a montana 5th wheel when we returned from our property in Washington about 3 miles from the Canadian Border. And this one came up near us and it was being sold by the origenal owners (A couple in there 70's) Anyway My question Do the model #'s mean anything regarding length?? My boat is a 2455 so it's 24' and 7 or 8" I assumed that my 2955 meant the same thing. So the other day I got out the tape and it's 33' from outside rear to the pin. So do the #'s mean anything?
Thanks, Mel
