Looks Like We Made It!

Hello all!
Last year we became the proud owners of a 2003 Mountaineer 335RLBS. Our first major trip was to the sandy shores of Myrtle Beach, SC. We had so much fun we extended the stay by 2 extra days. The RV exceeded our expectations. Towing was quite enjoyable with my 2004 Ram 3500 SLT 4X6 long bed dualie with 4.10 rear and HO Cummins Turbo 600 (I waited 18 years for this toy!) We took the hills of Pennsylvania at 60 MPH, most of the time never coming out of overdrive!

Having been an avid camper growing up in the Midwest, I wanted to pass the experience on to my wife and kids. We started tent camping, just as I did growing up, to give them the real feel of the outdoors. They took to it like fish to water. We always knew we would graduate to an RV and after many RV shows and years of research, set our sights on Mountaineer.

It has been an enjoyable trip to get here and look forward to the road ahead. Hope to make the rally at Saratoga RV Park.

Welcome FourBeeZee to the MOC Family but what took you so long?

Anyway we are glad you finally arrived and are waiting to hear about any further adventures.

We are also hoping you can make it to the rally at Saratoga RV.

FourBeeZee - welcome to the forum. I will have to agree with your choice of TT. I had the same model until a few months back. It was a joy to pull and never gave a minutes problem. We too go to Myrtle Beach for the golf. Great place. Welcome Home.

Great to have you on the Forum. Sounds like you are having a great adventure. Good that you spend time and energy with the kids. Outdoors beats the stuffings out of TV and computer games. With all that camping experience, RV maintenance is about all you've got left to master and you're well on you way to that. We will be looking forward to you future posts.

Welcome to the Forum. There's nothing much better than camping with your family. And you've got the right hobby for this forum....computers. Just wait 'til the addiction sets in.

The Midwest revolved around Lake Michigan; some time in Michigan, short stint in Minnesota, then Indiana, rounded out in Illinois.
