New Montana Mountaineer Owners

My husband Jeff & I just bought a 2005 Montana Mountaineer 5th wheel with a bunk house. We took our maiden voyage this weekend & had very little issues with the rig. We upgraded from a 26 ft. travel trailer with a bunk house & no slides, which basically means no room when you have 8 year old twins. We were a sight pulling into the campgrounds with a new dodge truck & a new rig, both with dealer tags. They truck that we had before just wouldn't pull a 5th wheel (not one with any space).

Welcome to the Montana whacky world. This is a great place to get those pesky questions answered. Sounds like you have plenty experience, so your upgrade should go smoothly. Happy RVing...

Congratulations and welcome aboard! The 318BHS is a beautiful outfit and I think you'll find quite a number of 318 owners here. I hope you have many years of enjoyment with the Mountaineer.

Welcome, Booth Family, to the MOC Family.

From a 26 ft. travel trailer to the 318BHS Mountaineer is quite a jump and we know you will not regret it for a minute. 4 in a 26 footer without slides had to be a real challange. Just one question? What are you going to do with all that extra space??

Welcome twinsmom! You are in our area (we live in Davis) and we hope you find and read the Western Region section of the message board here to find out about the 2006 Memorial Day Western Rally at Lake Siskiyou just outside Mt. Shasta City. We had a Western Rally at Lake Siskiyou this year and it was just loads of fun.

Also below is information on the International MOC Rally in Minden, Nevada in October of this year if you are able to attend.

Again, welcome, and maybe we'll cross paths at a campground soon?

Welcome to MOC and congratulations on the new rigs. Glad the maiden voyage went smoothly - you're no doubt in for more smooth "sailing" ahead.
