Have arrived in the Seattle area

After spending about three weeks touring Alaska and spending eight days to arrive in the state of Wshington. We took an extra two days to stop and rest along the way. Outside of the really bad roads in Alaska and the Yukon. And a few minor problems i.e. a small window broke from flying rocks and a flat tire from something sharp. The flat tire was on the outside dually tire. Also one of mirrors jumped off of it's top rail in the rear bedroom. Outside of these minor problems we had a wonderful trip. We took many pictures along the way and will post some soom. After about a week we will head for Waukegan, Illinois to perform family research work. Will give an update then.

Welcome Walter & Lucie to the lower 48. Other than a few minor problems it sounds like you had a great time. Can't wait until we can tour Alaska but that's something that's a bit further on down, or should I say up, the road for us.

Hi Northstar,
Just out of curiosity, where are you spending your couple of days in Seattle? We are heading out there the end of this month to see our son. We will be in Kent at the KOA as that is closest to him.

Sounds great, Northstar! I don't know what route you plan to Illinois but if you take US 2 across Montana, we're in Hungry Horse until 8/14. If you have a little time, stop in and say hello or call and we'll meet you somewhere.

Alas, Walter, we're about 138 miles north of your route. When you approach Missoula, MT, you'll see an exit for US 93 North. Last week we stayed three nights a mile north of that intersection, then came on up that 138 miles on US93/US2 to Hungry Horse. Sorry we'll miss you. Maybe another time or at the rally in Nevada.
