Just 62 days before dear hubby finally retires for real (first retirement was from the Air Force). Can't wait. Nothing much on the agenda....Savannah, Pensacola, Texas, Tennessee, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, then of to Alaska, Oregon, RENO, Arizona, Texas again (grandchildren), Tennessee again (grandson), and then a month in Florida before doing some construction ministry. Let's see I think there's a few gaps to fill..... We are so thankful and so excited. Just had to share.

Judy, Can hear the anticipation in your post. Been there myself...Tom is also retired USAF and just took his retirement from Delta Airlines on November 1. What a great life we have now. We were actually able to spend time with each of our kids and grandkids during the holidays instead of worrying about getting back for "work". Now we are enjoying our first winter as "snowbirds" here in Crystal River, FL. We are looking forward to traveling around the US next summer along with spending some extended time at our vacation home in WV. Those 62 days are gonna go reallllly fast!! Enjoy!!!

Thanks for the good wishes, Joyce. Congratulations to you and Tom on your graduation into snowbirding. We're going to get our first taste of a long stay in Florida (Salt Springs) next January. My hubby can't believe that he'll be spending an entire month on vacation with his sister from Iowa. They've barely spent more than five days together in their entire adult life. These RVs can really help make dreams come true.
