A/B Switch

Has anyone installed an a/b switch or whatever so the stereo plays on the seperate speaker systems, in the bedroom &/or main area? Seems odd that the radio does not have an A/B switch.

yes, picked up a switch at Radio Shack to switch speakers. No problem. Good luck!

Yes. I installed an A/B Switch on our Mountaineer. I picked one up at Radio Shack.

We had a warranty issue with the original dvd/cd/radio unit that came in our 5th wheel. Keystone replaced this unit (a 1000 series) with a different model (a 2000 series). The new unit has a built in A/B switch.

We installed an ab switch on our Montana. In fact, we bought an ABC switch from Radio Shack and wired the speakers to the front speakers, rear speakers, and an additional book speakers. They are wired on the postive side of wires. The common neg from the speakers are wired directly to the receiver. One postive wire, from the reciver, goes to the input spot on the ABC box. And then the postive from the speakers are wired to the ABC box in their respective places A, B, C. That way I can control the sound through out the RV.

I have yet to get around to this but am taking notes. Thanks to all who replied to CWOBOSN's question. It's helping me, too. Thanks.
