Storage space behind Bedroom TV

We replaced our tube TV with a flat screen and then fastened some paneling to hide the wires and added a shelf and light.

If you look closely, you will see a little black box in the upper rear left corner. That is an amplifier I picked up at the salvage place for $5. I connected it to 12v, to the bedroom speakers that never worked before and to the TV headphone out. We now have great sound without having to turn it up so much to hear.

Looks good. How did you mount the TV to the door. We have bought a 22" LED TV for ours and are waiting for it to arrive. I will take the tube TV out install the new one there and if there is space above it I will make a small shelf to mount the satellite receiver there. The rest of the cupboard will be used for our paper products.

Don & MaryAnn, I mounted our 22" high in that cabinet and put the receiver and a slim DVD player underneath on the shelf that the TV sat on. Might be an idea......

Thanks Michael.
Phil if I mount the receiver high it will give more room for storage.
