River Plantation Sevierville TN

We just got settled here at the site of our first regional rally last year. Great memories. We hope to see more of the area this visit. Should be a funbweek here. I see a Montana - is it anyone from here?

We are in site 159 - stop bye and say "hi" if you get a chance!

Hi

We left there a week ago Today 6/10/2016.

We will not be back!

I am totally paperless and need internet service to handle my business.

The WIFI didn’t work and hasn’t ever worked the three times we have used that park. When I went to the office and inquired they told me they had had other complaints and would get the service people out on Tuesday 5/31.

I inquired on Thursday 6/2 and was told there wasn’t anything wrong with the WIFI and no one else was complaining. A fellow named Alex went out of his way to tell it was my computer. He was less than polite.

While talking to the campers next to us they informed me that they come from W Virginia only a couple of hours away and they use this park often and the WIFI has never worked and the reason they are not getting complaints is because most have given up on trying to get them to fix it.

I carry 3 laptops with me and they all work the WIFI at the other parks I use.

There is a park not far away called the Rippling Waters RV Park. We used it one time back in 2010 it was owned by a fellow and his wife. I stopped there and talked to the lady behind the counter and she informed me that her husband passed away a few years ago and she is running it with a few employees and if she gets a complaint about anything they correct the problem as soon as practical.

It is a nice park with about the same amenities as River Plantation but with the owner on hand to communicate with you surely get excellent service.

We will be at riverside plantation pulling in on 19 June for a week. We gave up on campground networks years ago and use our own Verizon jet pack system for internet connectivity.

Hi

I carry the Jet Pack as well but I am already up to 15 G and after having to support my business for 8 days I had to add more.

I seldom have any problems with the park networks. Some parks only have if available in the lobby and as long as I know that in advance it’s not a problem. But theirs didn’t even work in the lobby.

However River Plantation has repeatedly made the statement that the system had just failed and they were going to get it repaired. Then Alex just plain lied about it and tried to blame it on my equipment.

I don’t need this kind of BS so I will not be back.

The next park all of my equipment suddenly healed its self. LOL

Sorry for the issues you encountered. We use our unlimited Verizon for our WiFi with no problems. Got it based on info learned on here a while back.

We checked in today! Seen a couple of Montana's. We're on site 161 this year. 3 years in a row here for us. Anyone else here from the MOC.

We will be there Oct. 11th for a week. If anyone is there then let's share a campfire and a cold one.

Pine Mountain RV Park and Camp Rivers Landing get my vote for the Pigeon Forge area. Black top streets are much better than the gravel at River Plantation. Going to Camp Rivers Landing this weekend.
