Noticed the systems can be order through Amazon and save a few dollars. Is there advantages of ordering from TST?

It has been a number of years since I bought mine. I did not buy directly from TST, but don't remember now who it was I did buy from. But a couple years after buying, I had an issue with the monitor and a sensor and TST customer service was very helpful. Turned out to be a programming issue (i.e. user error ). So I don't think it will matter where you buy as long as you are sure you are getting the same product package from either source. For only a few dollars, I would probably go direct to TST.

Have TireMinder Smart TPMS - it works. No interference - so far - with the Furrion backup camera.

I see many advocates for the TST system here. I have the Tire Minder TM77 from Minder Research. Have transmitters on all Monty and TV wheels. Not sure of the differences between TST and Minder products. My wheel transmitters are non-flow through. The transmitters weigh one-half ounce so i always have them installed when I balance tires. Yes, I'm one of those who believe in balancing trailer tires. I wouldn't tow without a TPMS.

Just experienced a catastrophic failure of our TPMS system last November. Hauling our rig across WY on i80 we lost a wheel & tire. Was never alerted of this situation. Luckily it had not occurred more than a mile or two away. Perhaps it'd take a few minutes to assess? An hour later I turned system off & on - then it beeped no sensor. Way too late had we been elsewhere. Spent wknd in Laramie waiting for replacements.

Ordered direct from TST, 4 sensors, color display, signal booster, and received the system today. Great customer service and quick delivery. Will get everything installed tomorrow and will be hitting the road soon.

I've used EEZTIRE for the past several years, never had a problem. I like having the tire temperature, pressure, and the ability to add a booster since I tow the fifth wheel with a boat and put them on the boat tires in the far back.

We bought TST 8+ years ago. Had some problems to start off including shoving the external antenna right back into the monitor.
Called customer service, Mike Benson answered. We were on the road not too far from Las Vegas. He took time away from his Truck show in Las Vegas TST was at and replaced the monitor. We met at some hidden entrance that Frank, Dean and Sammy used in the back of the casino the show was being held at.
THAT is customer service.
It’s TST for us and we never leave home without it.

My understanding is the flow through ones are a bit heavier than te cap ones and do require a metal valve stem. Went with the cap style as I wasn’t sure if the Monty actually had metal valve stems. (In storage at a distance) Love the peace of mind that the TST’s give me but wish I would of purchased the flow through

I've had flow thru for awhile and if I had to put in more than a few pounds of air, I remove the flow thru. It's slow to add air and no problem removing them and putting back on, in fact, it's easier than waiting, its that slow.
That said, I'd still chose flow thru.

I have the flow thru on my Montana with metal valve stems and on my RPod
with the regular rubber valve stems. I have about 10,000 miles on the RPod and no problems with having rubber valve stems.

Just finished getting Ford OEN TPMS sensors installed. They replace the valve stems. Discount tire 23.99 for 1. Walmart 12.00 each. had wheels balanced for those prices also.

After reading all the comments I got on line @ TST. Got the after hours guy (Mike) he was great. Told to go to Camper Worlds Wed site and order the kit there as they have a great sale for the next day or so. He was correct as TST wanted $341, at Camper World the Kit was $262 before shipping.
Kit Number was TST-507-RV-4-C

Been there, did that. Yet another lesson learned!

Sorry, I meant o respond to TWINDMAN about the rubber stem eventually breaking due to centrifugal force. I use the EEZ Tire system. Non flow thru's on the 5'r and flow thru's on the truck. Apparently one ton trucks are not available with factory TPMS systems, only 3/4 tons and smaller. Any ideas why? I was sorrly PO'd wen my new truck didn't come with it and wasn't available as an option even.

Ford has had TPMS on Duallys since at least 2018 and Trailer TPMS available also. I just finished getting the sensors installed (valve stem replacement) on our Monty.
I think GM catches up to Ford's towing tech in the 2020 model year

The system did not fail. There was not a loss of tire pressure. It can not sense a
lose of a entire wheel except tp report no sensor. We had the same thing happen to us last year on I-95 bearing failure caused the left rear wheel to come off the Montana and no alarm the tire was still at normal tire pressure. In our case there was a dealer nearby to get us help had all the parts and dispatched a mobile service truck . Our extended warranty paid the bill and we were back on the road in 4 hours.

X2 for the same reasons. I find myself removing them when I need to add air.
