What Have You Done with the Folding Dining Chairs?

  • We use them every day!
  • We use them on occasion
  • We never use them, but we still have them under the bed
  • We used them but one broke and we burned them as firewood
  • We left them in storage or at our home
  • We have no idea what you are asking about
Just curious!

We leave hem at the table. Bought chair buddies so they can stay when traveling.

left them at the stick house, we carry two typical metal folding chairs for the occasional four person meal or table games.

Still under the bed/mattress, we are full time and don't need that much space.

Typically at the table as we usually travel with another couple. When traveling alone store under the bed...

Speaking of chair buddies, can you install 1 chair buddy to hold down 1 chair on each side of the table at the same time. The chair buddy would have to be wide enough to clamp down on both at the same time.I only carry 2 chairs and store the other 2 under bed.

We RV full time and almost never have a need for those 2 chairs so we leave them in our storage condo.

Tossed them, went to local furniture store and bought four chairs we liked. Do a lot of Florida snowbird entertaining, what we got far more comfortable.

Our '14 HC as did our last 5er, a SOB, has 5* real DR chairs with some storage under the seats, not folding clunks. We carry 3, store two in out S&B attic

* The 5th (or 3rd) is used at the desk

We keep the folding chairs under the bed and we pull them out to use about every other time that we camp.

Chair Buddy Answer

Texan … unless you modify the chair buddy, it would be just as easy to place both chairs on one side of the table during travel and use it as designed. My chairs won't go close enough together to successfully use it for both sides.

Chairs gone, gone, gone

2014, FL3750, Sold them at auction, put bench along the back wall with shelving and installed power strip underneath. Then bought two Windsor chairs at that GW store, sprayed them gloss black. Sits like a dream and something visitors comment on. Adults and grands can sit on the bench.

Thanks for the info. It would be easier to move chair to opposite side than to bend down and strap them down. Of course it would be nice if Mor-Ryde would just make the arm that swings down wider so as to catch the chair on both sides so as not to have to move anything.
