Toilet Woes

This is the fifth time the toilet has run over during the night!! What a pain!! Fortunately, the recommended water sensor alarm sounded off and made us aware of the problem. We bought a replacement toilet 13 months after we bought the trailer. Made the mistake of buying the same model... to fit the plumbing. Also bought several water valve repair kits...just in case! But this is getting way too old a problem. Ordered the Dometic 310 (with additional hand sprayer) today as a replacement. Have heard lots of good things on this website about it. It is too bad I wasn't aware of the alternative when I bought the first replacement. Probably will require some minor plumbing modifications. One thing I will add is a shutoff valve. It is too bad they didn't install one in the first place.

I installed a Dometic 320 in my 2010 and no issues other than a need for a flex water hose connection and raising a cabinet door an inch. I have read on this forum that folks have had to use the old gasket, but mine (ordered from Tweety) came with a new gasket that was a perfect fit.
