My wife and I have been RV'ing for 20 years. We started with a Hornet and then traded for a 2003 3575 RL. We had our Montana for 15 years and just traded for a 2018 3791RD. When we bought our first camper, our goal was to visit all 48 lower states. We will be hitting our two last states of Maryland and Delaware next year. I love to combine the RV element with pursuing my fly fishing passion. We have our first extended family vacation with our 1st grandson and our two sons and their wives to Colorado in July. Looking forward to my new online community with fellow Montana owners!

Lenny, are you full timing with the solar panel application? I can put those on my new camper. How do you like them?

No we don't full time but we do spend 4 months at La Posa South in Quartzsite during the winter. I find that the amount of solar and batteries works great for us. Watch satellite TV for 4 to 5 hours every night and run the electric toaster and coffee pot every morning. By 1 o'clock we are completely recharged. There are the occasional days where we have to run our Honda 2000i for a couple of hours in the evening if we have more than 2 days of no sun. that does not happen very often in the desert.

Do your research on the internet on what you need for power and do your own install. It is easy to do and you will know it is done right.
