She won't take grease

I have one wet bolt that just will not take any grease. I have taken all the weight off the axel, I have placed a wrench on the bolt and she spins easily, I have replaced the zerk fitting, and for the life of me I cannot get grease in the bolt.

I am sure someone out there has an answer.

Pull the bolt out, check that the hole is open, put some grease on it and then try again after reinstalling or just buy a new bolt and replace while you have it apart.

I got her greased. I slowly rotated the bolt from the back side until she accepted the grease. I read the hole in the bolt should be at a certain position.

I had to do the same thing with one of mine. Made sure the hole was turned to the 3 or 9 o'clock position before it would take it.

Technically the bolt should not be able to spin in the spring hanger. The bolts are serrated to hold them in the installed location. The better way is to drive the bolt back out, clock it correctly and drive it back in with a brass or aluminum drift … or pull it back in the hanger with the nut. Similar serrations as on wheel studs.
