Wish me luck!
I know many or most of you don't have kids still at home, so you'll probably think I'm crazy...
My daughter turns 16 tomorrow. She is a sweet, quiet honor student and has invited four of her closest friends for a sleepover. Now, for the most part these girls are also sweet and quiet, but even one friend in the house can get to be too much for my autistic son, so they're having their sleepover in the Montana. I will be there the entire time, chaperoning. I'll also be cooking them dinner and breakfast in the Monty, giving the bathroom/water use talk, and generally making sure everything runs smoothly.
Wish me luck!

Being teenage girls be sure to have the flush/don't flush talk and make sure they're paying attention. Could get messy and/or expensive! Enjoy. I have teenage granddaughters.

The only advice I can offer is if they are going to be using the shower, leave the gray tank valve open if you have a sewer hook-up there. Something about teenage girls and showers equals a lot of water (personal experience - still have a 17 and 22 year old at home!). I will add that you are brave as well!!

I know two of the four almost as well as if I had raised them myself -- they've been to our house so much and I've taken them on trips ( but not in the camper.). I don't know the other two as well, but I'm comfortable having THE TALK (hehe) with all of them.
And no showers! My daughter takes showers that are literally over an hour in our S&B! When we're camping I've threatened to time her and yank her out soaking wet and covered in soap if she goes over 7 minutes. Miraculously, she takes short enough showers that I haven't had my bluff called!

Best of luck with that. My daughter turned 16 two weeks ago. She also is responsible and sweet (well, maybe sometimes). Can't vouch for her boy-crazy friends. Someday she'll understand and appreciate the sacrifice you're making.

Went camping regularly with our 13 girls and never had a problem with the toilet. Had plenty of other fights and issues, but never that one. Have a great time!

At one point in life our son was 8 going on 30. Then he turned 18 going on 3. Now he's 27 and has almost recovered to the point where his mental age equals his chronological age. Good luck with your girls.

As I type this I'm sitting at the kitchen table, hearing the soft sounds of the girls occasionally shifting in their sleep. One is gently snoring, lol. Dinner of chicken nuggets (brought in by my dear husband from Chic Fil-A), Mac n Cheese, peas and baby carrots, served with celebratory "champagne " (Welch's Sparkling White Grape Juice) went extremely well. I made a cheesecake and chocolate dipped strawberries and chocolate dipped banana pieces for dessert. Per my daughter's request we had bowls of candy everywhere (Sweet 16... Get it? Took me a while!). All through dinner, my daughter was thrilled. Even after dinner when I left them to hide out in my bedroom I could hear her saying, "Isn't this cozy? It's the best party!" And I could hear the other girls enthusiastically agreeing.
They went up into the lounge area and watched the movie Hotel Transylvania while playing a board game, laughing and chatting till about 11:00. At that point a car pulled up and one of the girl's mom came to pick her up. One down.
At 6:00 AM this morning there was a soft knock on my bedroom door. Another of the girls asked to use my cellphone. She has an orchestra clinic today and wanted to get home to take a shower and change before going to the clinic. Half an hour later another car pulled up. Two down.
I've got three girls here now, including my own. There are eggs, Crescent rolls and oj in the fridge. Shake & Pour pancake mix in the cupboard. My coffee cup is empty now and I'm just waiting for the girls to wake. All in all it's been a good experience.
