Few pointers about camping at fairgrounds

Message to self... Try not to stay at fairgrounds on race night.. I like stock car races just as much as any red blooded American but I am going to try to remember race nights in Ukiah CA. Our grandson spent the night with us last night and of course he likes to go to bed early but last night he was up to 10 which is quite a way past his limit. But we survived the roar of thunder and will stay here again. We are lucky to get a few more night of sleep overs till we head to seven feathers on Wed.. That is if we survive highway 20 on the north side of clear lake, that stretch of road is rougher than a cob....

Even those of us who are big time NASCAR fans can't do it without ear plugs or headphones.

Hey Drifty you are right behind us, we are at the KOA in Benbow Valley and Talking about noise they are having the Redwood Motorcycle Run and I have never seen so many Harley's roar pass us good thing I LOVE the sound of the Big Harley's
