Wheel Lug Nuts

Wheel Lug Nuts on 2007 Montana are quite rusty/corroded and look rather 'ugly'. Is this easily fixable and how? Or, would it be better to replace them with SS and what is a good, reasonable source?
Thanks in advance, B

If you know how to use the search feature, this is a well documented problem that many have fixed with replacement Wheel Lug Nuts. Most use Menard's if I remember correctly?? The search feature should give you lots of references!!

If you have 1/2" X 20 RH lug nuts and you choose to go with McGard lug nuts here is a link to view them:
McGard Lug Nuts
They are not cheap but they do have a lifetime guarantee against rust.
I bought a set of them and am very pleased with them.

Others have found other brands for a lot less. They may not have the lifetime no rust guarantee.

Thanks for the replies--most helpful.
Jolu: Please confirm the nuts I require for a 2007 3400RL are indeed the McGard #64805 items.

I have replaced my stock lug nuts with McGard #64805 and are very pleased so far. barmar: I would think your lug nuts should be the same model number.

barmar,
As Jack points out your lug nuts are most likely the same. As far as I know all the Montana units use the same 1/2" X 20RH lug nuts. Our 08 used the same ones that came with the 10. The 08 factory lug nuts were a little better quality than what the 10 came with.

I find that DW40 works well on reducing rust. Could save you a few $$'s.

Take a good look at Dexter's Torq 'N Go lug nuts. They work as advertised and are good looking (at least they look good now).
