water pump

when I am not hooked to shore power the water pump doesn't work. This is for a 2009 2980 RL. Any ideas or coded messages I may need? Thanks for your time. 4fun

Don't work, what do you mean? The pump isn't running or it not pumping?
Not running check your fuses. Not pumpkin open up a valve and let it pump until it picks up the water. If you have an air leak it will pick up air and never pump water.

Is your battery any good in your RV. Check it without your shore power on.

Checked the batteries they're ok, fuses are ok. There is no 12 volt power when shore power is disconnected. Plug in shore power and lights, slides, pump etc. all work fine.

Send a message via MSN to rmthelen
This may seem like a dumb question but here goes anyway......Is your battery disconnect switch in the proper position?
