I did it!!

Well, I'm officially a Montana owner. After the walk thru I noticed it only had one AC unit and not one in the bedroom. My sales guy said there was two. He came out and said yep I told you two. I'll have it installed by Wednesday... No extra charge...

Welcome to the club. Hope you get many years and hundreds of wonderful memories from your rig. We also had to make an emergency truck purchase. Wasn't going to pull the Monty 250 miles home with my Dodge Dakota.

Cart before the horse? Not really. That's an okay way to do it; buy the rig so you know what truck ratings you need. I bought the new Monty, then found out my truck was undersized. So I bought a bigger truck and still screwed up. Long story so I'll stop now.

I hope your walkthrough is a full blown PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection). If you aren't savvy, please ask and there will be MOC help on the way. This will ensure it's not just the second A/C you're missing.

Congrats and welcome!!!

Best of luck with your new Monty. The best idea is to stay on this forum, as it provides answers to any questions you may have, and some you may not know to ask. Good luck with your truck search.

But still you are going about it in a wise matter. I remember our first Montana that we were about to purchase (3400L), I did the math and before we signed the papers on the rig, I went out and bought the needed horse for the job. Whether the cart is first or the horse is first is inconsequential, doing your homework and making a wise, informed decision is the proper way to go. And congratulations on your purchase, and like others we wish you the best and eagerly await your tales of adventure, perils, trials, tribulations and all other aspects of the Montana that we hope you keep us (MOC) informed of!

I did the same thing, had to pay a guy to haul it from the dealer to the storage barn.
