New Montana

Hi everyone. We just got a brand new 2017 Montana 3820FK. Traded in our 30 foot 2006 Everest. Not quite ready to go full time, so our trips will just be weekends, and a week to Minnesota this year. Can't wait to get out in it.

We are in Draper Utah

Tow with a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado K3500 (Dually)
6.6 Duramax with Allison transmission
Pull-Rite Super Duty Hitch

Nothing quite like a new rig. Congratulations. Hope you have many years of trouble free ownership.

Welcome, I'm a 3820FK if you need to compare notes. Hope to be taking my rig into the Utah area sometime in April.

Bruce, welcome to the forum from a neighbor over in sunny Colorado. Take a look further down in the forum and you will find Regional Camping clubs. There are lots of great regional rallies, and you would be in our Rocky Mountain region. We have a rally this coming September. Keep an eye on that area and maybe you can join us.

Nice floorplan. I like that the kitchen/dining room can view the television. While not a fulltimer, yet, that rig looks like it's ready and just waiting for you to make the leap.

May all your journeys be filled with nothing but positive learning experiences from one who has had their share of negative learning experiences but still with no regrets.

Bruce,

We have a 2017 3820FK and have done two 2,500 mile trips last year, and are going on a 5k trip this April. We love our 3820FK. I'm just sad it is in storage right now, and that we are not using it, since we live in North Shore Lake Tahoe, and have had 10 feet of snow in the last 3 weeks. The Monty is in Reno, and does not get that much snow. We can't wait for our next trip from Tahoe to New Orleans, and back.
