Exterior Protection Package

Well we sold the house! We went to look at what we hope will be our Montana, a 2980Rl, but there are quite a few things that need to be fixed. The dealer is trying to sell Platinum sheild which is supposed to protect the exterior finish and stop it from yellowing. Has anyone had any experience with this? Our thoughts are that the exterior should be built to last! Is there a wax product that would do the same thing? Also, should there be a visible rubber seal on the bottom of the bedroom slide? In the shower, in the corner, you can stick your fingers all the way down. What does anyone else's feel like? Out concern is moisture going down and eventually causing problems. All answers appreciated!
