How to Determine Pin Weight on 2955RL?
Hi folks. I just found out that the GMC 3500 signle rear wheel model I wanted to get is only going to be available in a 4WD and not in a 2WD. Consequently I am going to have to look at either a Ford or a 2500 GMC I guess.
My question is: exactly how do you determine the weight that a fully loaded 2955RL exerts on the hitch? Brochure number is probably a completely empty trailer (no water, luggage, provisions etc, but since almost all stroage is in the front, I imagine the 1,980 shown in the brochure is going to be FAR exceeded.
What I'm getting at is whether a 2500 GMC SRW 2WD D/A is going to exceed tire or axle or GVWR...Has anyone actually weighed their FULLY loaded 3/4 ton GMC and 2955RL?
