Travel in New England
To Ramdom Line: The best times to travel here in N.E. are, if you want to swim in the Atlantic Ocean come in July or August, but keep in mind that it is often very HUMID not as humid as Florida but close. We also have casinos, Mystic Aquarium, Mystic Seaport, etc. Some of the best seafood restauants are in New England. Summer is one of the peak tourist seasons.
The next busy time is "leaf peeping" season in the fall, this season starts in early September the further north you go, peak here in Connecticut is mid to late October. The changing of the leaf color is something everyone should see at least once in a lifetime. We've been here all our lives and never tire of it. A lot of the campgrounds are open some until Thanksgiving. Note: You may experience a Colonial Thanksgiving at Sturbridge Village in Sturbridge, MA.
We took our first trip with the Montana to Plymouth, MA. Loved the rock and the replica of the Mayflower. Plimouth Plantation (correct colonial spelling) was
expensive and not worth the time or money. We went to a local campsite, Water's Edge in Lebanon, CT and really liked it.
Come to New England, you'll enjoy it.
