As long as you like the floor plan.. I have the 3920, there are a lot of similarities, but everyone has a preference. The best advice I can give you which I wish I did was to come here first before buying (which you did) and to be told to do a better walk through !! OPEN EVERYTHING. turn on everything. Heck I would even ask to have them hook up a satellite dish to make sure the wiring is correct, extend the awnings mine was ripped.

in a nut shell when you buy do a really really thorough walk through !!!

assuming Rochester NY ? I'm from Buffalo, another good point have them show you how to winterize since you are in the cold area of the country save some money its easy to do.

Thanks for your thoughts. We actually drove to Buffalo and Hamburg to look at several layouts yesterday. Yesterday we found a 3121Rl at a Hamburg dealership.

Im assuming the CW in Hamburg? Thats where we bought our first trailer a Coleman, and the salesmen showed us the 17 3920, wife loved it, thought it would be our retirement coach, well in less then 2 years we bought it couldn't wait.

Im sure others will chime in with more knowledge than I have with specifics, good luck !

That is what we actually looked at yesterday, since they didn't have the 3120RL in stock. Only difference is the Fridge.

If I were living FT in the rig, I would go with something bigger than a 3120RL. We have a 3121rl and it is great for our purposes. But with full timing I would probably want some more room. As for how large you want to go that would depend on your tow vehicle. If I was full time, I would be all over the 3791.

Fulltiming, would be too small for us, but if it works for you go for it and enjoy.

I do understand sometimes bigger is better, but when we go full time, we want to travel and a unit around the 35' length will be easier to find sites in the state and federal parks.

I agree. Getting into where we wanted was important to us. I also am pulling with a GMC 2019 2500hd.

I only have a 2017 Silverado 1500, so we are searching for the right trailer for us first, then buy the proper truck to pull it. "The cart before the horse"

Go through it slowly and thoroughly.
Make sure you know where the second gray tank pull is before you buy. (It may not be where you want it to be)
Try everything out be for signing papers. there are lots of PDIs on the site here. get one and follow it.
research your hitch. Get the one you want the first time.
Get on the roof
Shake down trip close to home
ENJOY

We love our 3121RL, but for full timing I would want a 3931FB. I like the thought of a second bathroom.

We are looking at the same RV. Legacy is a nice package, but I can only find one dealer with stock. Likely have to factory order and I don’t know what that time line is for that. Just FYI I am getting prices around 85-90000 (about $60000US) .............. but I always pay more than everyone else did when I hear the stories about what people have paid after I buy

3121 is the right for us. 2 adults and 10lb dog. Even when we retire in a few years.

Do a search on the MOC site and you will find more info.

The one thing that i can share, make sure you check the rubber gas line going to the kitchen slide. Lot of people have had issue with it being bent when the slide is out.

We have 3k payload on our 16' 2500 ram 6.4 with 4.10. The truck will pull the weight, but the pin weight plus all the stuff in the truck. Our next truck will be DRW.

Enjoy whatever you get.

Here is our 3120RL legacy with full body paint. We had to order it took a little over 12 weeks.

You beat me to it! I had just logged it to ask pretty much the same question..hope you don't mind but if I could throw in an additional question....what to you 3120/3121 owners pull your rig with? This post has answered pretty much all my other questions!...I have to say one of the major factors in my looking strongly at the Montana vs. one other SOB is this site...nice to know if/when I get out there if I have an issue I will be able to find help here...great comfort...thanks everyone!

We have a 2018 3120rl that we pull with a 2017 F350 Crew Cab SRW long bed. We love our set up but we are weekend warriors who do the occasional long haul when on vacation. If we were to transition to fulltimers we’d be buying something bigger.
