Anyone purchased from KitsMiller RV in MI. ?

I was wondering if any of the MOC members have purchased a Montana or any NEW RV from this dealership. If so what has your experiences been good or bad.

1211 N. Cedar Road
Mason, MI 48854

Thanks

OK, I am curious as to why you ask about a company in MI, when you live in CA?

Because if the price is right I might buy from them.

Bob,

I deal with them on a regular basis. They seem to be pretty straight up.

We have a seasonal site at Twin Mills Resort in Howe, IN. It is nothing on weekends to cruise through the camp ground on my golf cart with Baxter riding "shotgun" and see several units from that dealer. So, they must be an ok dealer.

Just my 2 cents.

I have "heard" some good things about Kitsmiller but we have NO personal experience with them. If you are looking for a good price, you might also want to checkout Lakeshore RV, in Muskegon, MI. Again, I have no personal experience with them either but from the research I have done, it appears they may have the best price but I don't know that for a fact either as we aren't in a position yet to really "deal". We have friends who bought a 5er from Lakeshore and their experience seemed to be okay.

Hope you find a great deal and exactly what you are looking for!

We bought ours from them and were very satisfied with them. They were very upfront, and really helped us order it so we would have it when we wanted it. It was delivered to them the week before we told them we wanted delivery. We took it in 3 months after we had it for it's "initial" warranty adjustments and they fixed everything, including the operator induced problems. I'm done with it this year and it's going back in for a couple other minor things but they are very helpful and we found them to be the cheapest dealer around.

I have bought two units at Lakeshore RV in Muskegeon and as far as price goes they are competitive and they have good inventory but they are no longer carrying Montana trailers. I bought one of the last Montana's off the lot from them. They claimed Keystone was price fixing the trailers and not allowing the Dealer to negociate disounts. They also sell thropugh EBAY.

If you do buy from them My only complaint with them is their lack of service responsiveness. That will be a big factor in my nextpurchase.

I bought ours from Lakeshore RV last year. Their price was very competitive and even with shipping to Idaho they were way cheaper than our local dealer. They were talking about dropping the Montana line then but said they were still going to be a Keystone dealer. If I remember right they were talking Cambridge at the time, maybe now that Cambridge is out of the picture things may have changed.

RMccord, I would check with Town & Country, Clyde, OH (Bill Tea). He saved me $4K over ALL other dealerships. Great service...

Apparantly Lakeshore RV is carrying Montana again. They had some 2007 models listed on their website. At the time I thought they were crazy to drop Montana. They also carry a line called Big Horn which has the same model numbers as Montana. I assume they are made by Keystone.

I live in Michigan and Lakeshore is one RV Dealer we will be looking at negotiating with when we buy our Montana. FWIW, I wrote to them and inquired if they were going to be discontinuing selling Keystone Montana's and I received a reply from them that they are continuing to sell them and have no plans not to.

If you check carefully on their site, you will find 12 (!!) pages of positive comments from purchasers. Interesting reading.
