89 or 44 or 36 or 395 in California, June 3

Drat, I can't remember which of those roads we were on today (6/3) when we saw two Montanas that appeared to be traveling together. They were going generally north or west and we were going the opposite direction. I flashed twice at both and both immediately responded in kind, making me think maybe these are our members???

I think we were on 89 or 44 at the time but this old memory is failing me. Our route took us on all four of those roads (plus I-80) today while tripping from the Mt. Shasta area to Fernley, NV, east of Reno.

Bob saw them too, Steve. Told me about them when I woke up . I think we saw them on 89, so it was sometime after that when you saw them, since at that point you were Waaaaaay ahead of us.

Then we saw one other one, stopped at a gas station on 395.....oops, that was you, wasn't it. Doesn't count.

Hi guys, that was rickety and his friend john you saw on 89. We were retruning to Washington after two weeks in Nevada. (See the post about our problems elsewhere) Had a wonderful trip and sure did enjoy seeing the Montana's omn the road. There were five Monty's at Boomtown in Nevada. One guy had just bought his that day andtowed it up from someplac3e in California. I spent many hours with him going over variious items. He bought from a private owner and got absolutely no instructions on anything. Loaned him one of my Propane tanks so that he would have heat for the night. It was a 3400rk.

One drawback to to pulling with Big Red, I just realized, is that you can't see the Montana name from the front...one benefit, though, is that it never gets bugs on it. Guess I'll have to think about graphics for Red's roof.

Hey, Rickety and his friend John! That's great. I wish now we'd known it was you... we'd have stopped somewhere along the line to meet you.

Firetrucker's rig was the only Montana to arrive at the rally (other than those who live close by) with NO bugs on the nose! Hmmmm, a benefit not heretofore discussed. Think of all the money I'd save on dryer sheets.

Acknowledgements are few and far between. I still can't believe there aren't more.
