Go with satellite INTERNET. You can set it up anywhere and use it at home also. We love ours.

Where in Florida????
Glen,
Will be in Ocala.
I gotta start paying more attention to these posts. I ask a question you answer and I don't reply.

Anyway, will you be in Ocalla by mid January.
If so drop on down I-75 to Tampa and the RV supershow Jan 12 to 16. Trying to get a few of the MOCers together either Thursday, Friday or Saturday. At this point it looks like it will be Friday

Glenn, is that show in Tampa or are those of you in Tampa going elsewhere to the show? In other words, I'm trying to figure out how far it would be from Savannah. Probably too far but thought I'd ask. We arrive in Savannah on Jan 10, weather permitting.

Sorry but no, we leave Michigan Feb 5th with horses in tow and also sorry to say NO TIME FOR FUN. I know when I say we'll be in Florida for 6 weeks everyone says, "oh how fun, must be nice", but it's ALOT of work. Mucking stalls at 5:00 A.M., feeding 3 times a day, mucking some more, bathing the horses, grooming, tack up for my daughter to ride, get her off to school (and be there on time) and cook, clean and do homework..... So, there will be no time for any fun. My parents live near there and if they want to see me they come to the horse show and follow me around. Sad but true.

We now have our WiFi set for the next few months at a very reasonable rate! In an earlier post on the MOC someone had posted this website address: http://www.jiwire.com/which has saved us a great deal of money. When we arrived here at the Crystal River, FL Encore Park we were told they had WiFi available through tengointernet. In checking from our site, we had a signal so I checked on prices. They had a daily of $5, a weekly, monthly (can't remember the $), and the most economical was a 3 month rate of $105.00 which is $35/month when you sign up for 3 months. I decided to do some research on the above url and found that Encore is listed as a "hot spot" for Boingo. Boingo is now running a special of $21.95/month (unlimited) and the second month is free. This means 3 months for $43.90 a savings of over $60. There is no contract and you can cancel at any time. I called Boingo and found there was no additional charges by going through Encore's tengointernet WiFi. Seems they have a partnership agreement. Boingo is a much better deal. In addition to saving us $$ Boingo has many more hot spots. So we are now set up with WiFi so we can browse the internet, check e-mail, be active on the forum, etc. Just wanted to pass along this information for those of you who are using WiFi. Check out the above url and search for hotspots wherever you are headed. You might also want to check out Boingo hot spots by going to http://www2.boingo.com/

Definitely needed these sunglasses today here in sunny FL!
