Disc Brakes

When all you folks did the Keystone tour, did they ever mention any consideration for offering disc brakes as an option on the new Montanas?? That's one option that I think would be worthwhile.

I don't think that was mentioned in the tour we were on. But in the MorRyde presentation back at the Rally I think MorRyde says they offer disc brakes as an aftermarket solution. Someone correct me if I got that wrong.

Our tour guide indicated that Montana has NO plan to offer disc brakes. But did indicate that there are aftermarket products available. Steve you are correct.... MorRyde offers them.

HamRad,
are these Disk brakes electrict or hydrolic? does a person have to change their brake controler?

My understanding of the disc brakes are that they are hydraulically activated on the trailer but triggered electrically from the truck. I'm not sure if you need a different controller or not. Anything I've read about disc brakes on the trailers indicate they are far superior to the drum setup.
