Leak from outside refrigerator vent

We've been experiencing rainwater leakage through the two outside refrig vents. The rainwater leaks onto the carpeted floor under the refrig and also onto the carpeted floor of the cabinet next to the refrig. The result of this is that this moisture has left a very nasty, musty odor when cabinet door is opened. We're also afraid of rotting floor material in these two areas in the future. We thought we had fixed the problem a month or so ago, but no such luck. Unit is a 2008 Montana 5th wheel. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Please let us know what we can do to correct this short of buying a different trailer. Your suggestions would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

I (and many others) have experienced the same problem. Mine was exactly like what you are describing. I followed Waynem's instruction's in an old post and mine is now, and has been for a year, completely dry. I'm posting a link to his explanation.
