Leak in slide

Just bought a new 2018 montana high country 379rd this past Feb first big rainstorm I woke up to water in my living room coming from what looked like the corner of my slideout. Had a tech come out and check it said all seals looked tight no cracks etc...checked around slideout on roof and everywhere..yet it continues to leak every time it rains....warranty has denied claim due to fact that tech said no problems....its very disheartening..have even sent pictures where water coming in when it rains yet still no help. Any suggestions?

In the lower part of the slides there can be a four inch panel across the bottom with square pieces in the corners. Frequently the squares or the panel it'self are not sealed correctly and that can cause a leak far bigger than you would believe.

Hmmm interesting...can that be checked by my husband or is that an issue that needs a techs attention? Really need to get someone other than previous tech. They are trying to make me go thru insurance to get it fixed.

Yes, it's easy to check. Just look at the edges and see if thery are any small gaps in the sealant.

Hopefully when they checked the seals they checked the window gasket as well.

Document everything. You may need to invoke your state's lemon law.

You should look it up to see home many chances you have to give the dealer to fix it. In Texas, you have to give the Factory a chance to fix it also.

We have a similar problem with our2018 th, turns out the corner angle at the bottom of each slide was not properly sealed. At the dealer we met the tech doing the work, he showed us how the silicone looked good but did not adhere to the siding. Water went right past it, luckily only one corner got wet & we were able to dry it in time, left the ac run all week also. As of saturday they were resealing all the slides, not one was done correct. he showed us on another brand how the angle was sealed from behind & then the outside edge was caulked. Hope this helps.

Don’t accept it back till they dose it with a water hose for about an hour!!!! When it leaks let the tech try to say it is good then!

As a follow up we finally found & repaired our leak, came in around the slide out window. I didn't remove the window just sealed around it with black silicone. we have had multiple storms & I probably have two hours of hosing it down & no water. I will remove & reseal the window but for now its usable. As you can see no sign of gasget or sealer.

Looks like your window drains are at top of the window. If so the window is installed upside down.

No the drains are at the bottom, the picture is looking down from the roof. I even sealed the top plugs as well.
