Sling box

Has anyone tried a sling box with Dish TV on the road. We use an ATT wireless air card to connect to the internet and have Vista OS on the computer, Thanks

No, I have not tried Slingbox. Keep in mind that D/Ling video over an aircard will quickly eat up your 5GB limit of data. I don't D/L video, but I'm on the internet a fair amount of time and I use around 3GB of data per month.

I use the sling box at home to sling tv to my laptop when traveling, however, the warning is very true about using up your alloted bandwidth with an air card very quickly. I don't watch my dish network feed(well maybe for a quick news item, or weather forcast), but use it to set the DVR to record a show, or make changes to my planned programming or delete shows off the dvr
