There has been a couple of questions on the MCD product and their installation process at the factory. The following is copied off their website.

MCD is headquartered in a beautiful 9.6 acre campus just 35 miles northeast of downtown Dallas, Texas. The friendly Texas ranch house-look building in a countryside setting is a real delight to visit. With white fencing, manicured lawn, flowering trees, a spring-fed pond with ducks and geese, and a 150-foot long covered front porch that invites you to "just sit a spell" in one of the rockers, you can relax while trained technicians take care of retrofitting your RV. The climate-controlled manufacturing facility houses the R&I Group, installation department, customer support center and sales and marketing offices on a campus with parking for both RVs and cars. Wireless Internet is available to both visitors and customers.
MCD Shade System appointments are scheduled as we receive them. The stay for a cockpit retrofit will typically be four working days; a whole coach retrofit will typically take five working days. Please call well in advance of the time you would like to arrive and MCD will do its best to accommodate you. On the first day, technicians measure, quote and work out all of the details, and then your order is scheduled into production. The second day, as your shades are produced, MCD technicians typically begin installing or preparing for the installation of your new shades. Because MCD normally installs shades in a number of RVs during the week, your shades may not be installed until Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. You will even be able to stay in your RV every night and enjoy the 50 Amp hookup service. During the day, you are welcome to visit with the MCD customer service staff with your people-friendly pets, or check out the many shops, restaurants, and attractions nearby. The friendly MCD front desk personnel can provide you with area information.
