AZ yes you are correct I could get local channels via the over the air antenna. But and this is a big but I am far too lazy the screw with the over the air setup. Having to turn on the whatamacallit on the over the air setup then turning it off when on the traveler. Plus the Dish setup I have in the stick house has one hopper and two Joyes. For me to have Dish in the rig I would have to use the Hopper leaving D/W without TV.

Your a married man would you dare to do this to your CEO * not at all a good plan.
So what I have in the rig is a Hopper in the bed room and a Joey in the living room. The Hopper is in the bedroom because of the sat wire that is required from the Traveler to the Hopper. The wire from the traveler to the Joey can be the standard crap Keystone puts in the rig.

Also as the CEO D/W takes care of my clients appointments. All this boils down to her having control so I open the office at 9 AM and see my last client at 6 PM. With the last meeting at 6 PM I don't get out of the office untell 7:30 to 8 PM. So the Hopper allows me to copy the programs I like to watch.

I like to relate this setup to a ship. There is a guy steering the ship (that's me) then there is the Captain (that's D/W) telling me where the ship is going.
