How well do you know the USA States?

I've posted this before and was going to revive it for the new kids on the block but I couldn't find it. Maybe it's been archived by now, anyway how well do you know the states and can you place them in the right place. Be careful it's not as easy as you think!

Here's the link!

That was fun. I errored only on the first two which were Nebraska and Wyoming - talk about needles in a haystack. I ended up with 96%, an average of 7 miles in error and took 319 seconds (I didn't realize I was being timed).

This is a pretty good test to help others know the U.S. geography better.

A lot depends on the sequence of the states. I get close but not exact when I get a state and have no US border or neighboring state border to work with. I imagine most of us are the same.

92% 12m average error.

That was fun. Thanks.

85% and 26 miles and a whopping 428 seconds that I didn't know was ticking. It didn't mention time.

Guess we have been traveling too much. 94% 6 mile average and 217 seconds. We drive much slower than that and our GPS named Summa misses more then I did. Bill named her Summa cuz summa time she's right and summa time she's wrong.

adelmoll, you are an animal... just for kicks I redid the thing and got worse numbers. sreigle has it knocked, that the sequence will have a bearing. Plus my second try, I kept missing cuz I wasn't being as careful with the mouse.

I didn't post my time but it was a whopping 470 seconds. But it is not as bad as it looked. Twice while doing the states I heard email come in so went to do a quick email read. And once Vicki said something to me. And I ALWAYS stop what I'm doing and listen to what she says. So my real time is probably "only" about 400 seconds. Or so.

I have had this saved for a long time. I play it ever so often to make sure I still have all my marbles. Steve is correct - depends on the order. I've gotten a 100 a couple of times but also have gotten 80 on the next try.
Happy trails...........................

order of appearance!

That was fun, but won't try it again, Got 94% and 8 miles the first time, that would have gotten me thru college at that rate!
