2019 3931fb legacy

Our New 5th just got delivered from the factory. Wow did they change some things.
1. Outside tv deleted and jacks placed inside the basement.
2. Jensen TV’ instead of Furrion.
3. Ceiling light fixtures and upholstery changed.
4. Generator Prep standard on legacy?
5. Ours says 20th anniversary on it.
6. Both bathroom vents changed to a smaller fan with LED motion light ring. Also has low profile max air vent overs. These do not open like the one in the kitchen.
7. HYDRAULIC DISC BRAKES!!!!
8. Interior LED accent light above slides are deleted.
9. BIG round white light on front and back gone. the back one is now a slick LED light.
10. Little orange convenience lights under the steps, above the dump valve, under the overhang in front, on the back side next to water station.
11. Dim round twilights are gone...replaced with bright LED lights. RED and WHITE.
12. Observation camera now has 3 cameras, the other 2 are on the side and attached to the first running light. Also has an option for a 4th camera above the door?
12A. Rear observation camera now has a speaker so I can hear the wife give me commands, but she cannot hear me 😈.
13. Arched celing replaced with a flat ceiling.
Might be some more things that I cannot think about right now. Just wanted to let you folks know... I was shocked about the taillights and brakes.. 👍
I have attached some pics under the RIg Registery.
Hollar if you have any questions

Like everything except the flat ceiling. We love our side LED lights, but different strokes for different folks.

As I recall the old estimate for Legacy upgrade was $6,000. Is that still close even with the disc brakes?

I don’t know. We ordered the legacy in July and just received it with the brakes. It was not ordered that way. My only guess is that it is now part of the legacy package and we ordered before a potential price change but received all of the newer updates?????
Thanks

Disc brakes are becoming the standard above 12,000lbs GVRW. My neighbor has a Mobile Suite with hydraulic brakes (Dexter). He found out when one locked up and had to be replace. :/

Enjoy your new unit!

Dirk, congrats on the new Legacy Package. We saw these up grades at the Fall Rally when we toured the plant. Some great improvements but like Mr. Montgomery we like the arched ceiling better than the flat one but ask he said " to each his own". Think about joining us next July for the Central Plains Regional Rally. We haven't picked a date or campground yet but watch the Regional Camping Clubs section for updates on our CPRR. Enjoy that new unit and also think about joining us at the Fall Rally next September and you can see where your Legacy was born.

Congrats on the New Montana!

The "9." comment has caused some confusion. It references "front and back" lights. In reality, it is the side lights that are being explained. The old lights were to the front and back of the sidewalls. Just to clarify.

We have the arched ceiling in our 13 3402.I do not see the advantage of a arched ceiling. It was a industry fad for a few years and is now fading out. We do not even notice that the new units were Not arched at the rally.

Funny thing about those arched ceilings that so many people tend to like. As we did! But it wasn’t meant to be for us...twice now..lol When we purchased our 2016 Wildcat we placed the order late 2015 and yep... the 205 had arched ceilings. When we picked it up in December of ‘15 Forest River had made changes to it including the elimination of the arched ceilings. Same thing with the Monty. Placed our order in July of ‘18 and upon delivery a few weeks ago...”wala” arched ceilings replaced by the flat ceiling...as mentioned above..we didn’t even notice it until the salesman had showed us the list of changes...overall it really didn’t matter to us and I think we scored BIG overall....locked in on the price of an early “19 but received the updates of the late ‘19. Biggest bonus was the Hydraulic disc brakes (which are amazing)..I’m told about a $4500.00 upgrade that we did not pay for. “SCORE”!!!!!!!! Thanks to everyone for your comments and hospitality. Stay safe and we can’t wait to get the mirrors up.

By going to the flat roof a high profile AC unit can be installed in the bedroom. The high profile AC puts out more CFMs. ie cooler AC. doubles as hair dryer in bathroom.

Anybody know if the disc brakes in the 20th anniversary package are dexter or kodiak? Rumor has it the Mor/Ryde IS only works with Kodiak brakes.

After full timing in 2 Montana fivers (2012 & 2018) for 7 years that had/have the arched roof/ceiling a flat one would be a deal breaker for us. Makes no difference really as the current 2018 will be our last of any of them.

I don’t know how that could be.. The systems are essentially identical. The only difference in some of the parts is the brand name.

This an area that I am a mechanical newb. I hope to be smarter. LOL Already learned that MORryde can easily adapt to other brands... part on hand if needed.

One of the first things I learned was, if I wanted to know the truth about my trailer, find out where the dealer is and go the other way.
