Perscriptions

This has been addressed before but I need some advice. We have been satisfactorily using Walgreens for our prescriptions I'm putting on a lot of miles traveling to the nearest Walgreens. I am exploring ideas on getting them mail order. Who has done this satisfactorily and what co. do you use?

Thanks and Happy New Year All

John

Our prescription drug program uses Express Scripts, and we have never had an issue getting our meds by mail. Of course, short duration meds are still available at most any pharmacy we choose to go to. Opioids are another issue, as they can not be sent by mail and you must bring the actual script to the drug store, and they must be filled in the same state as prescribed.

Walgreens has their own Mail Service and we have used it for several years. Plus for us using Florida Blue as our Insurance carrier Walgreens is their primary pharmacy.

We use Wall mart as primary as there are wall marts everywhere CVS and wall greens as backups .We have our scripts written for 90 days with 3 refills. We have never had a problem.

We use Sam's Club and 6 month prescriptions. Sam's is really cheap and filling them 6 months at a time is very convenient.

Used Express Scripts for years and never a problem. Insurance changed to OptimaRx and they are even better. I would recommend either.
