CAMPCLUB USA

We belong to Passport America, Escapee's and Good Sam. Is Campclub USA another good organization to belong?

Alan,

It has saved us some money. It works like PA. It normally pays for itself fairly quickly. You might want to see if the places you'd likely stay accept it and if so do they also accept PA or some other plan that you might have. If so you might want to NOT pay for something you may already have. Sorry that sounds so weird. I have difficulty writing exactly what I'm trying to convey.

Good luck.

I have Passport and we looked into CampClub and found it to be pretty much a carbon copy. That didn't surprise me one bit as Camping World at one time did sell Passport. After Passport did all the ground work CW just contacted all Passport CGs and came out with their own version.
I find Passport's online site much easier to navigate and Passport updates their site on a weekly basis. Unlike the book, you can go to the Passport site and find any CGs that just joined or any that have left.
I know Passport also offers you a passportamerica.com email address (Mine is rving@passportamerica.com). For the Fulltimers they also offer mail forwarding which I don't think CampClub has either.
ALSO, with Passport every time you get someone to sign up you get $10 credit toward future your yearly subscriptions. Last year we earned $80 in credits and so far this year $30. I haven't paid my yearly subscription in years and I won't be sending Passport America any checks for years to come.

BTW-If this response encourages anyone to join Passport America PLEASE use my acct# CW335639 as the referral #.

I haven't checked in awhile but last time I did I saw the same that Glenn did. Unless there's a significant difference between the two, I'd go with either PA or CUSA but not both. But I'll check occasionally to see which is better.
