Florida in my rear view mirror....

Ever since our unplanned visit to Florida back on June 30 I have been chomping at the bit to get out of town. Well tomorrow we will be putting Florida in our rear view mirror not to return until the beginning of October. Our eventual destination is of course Goshen but me thinks I ain't gonna rush it.

OH BTW, NO my procedures are not completed. That will be taken care of when we return.

SEE YA IN GOSHEN!!!!!!

Well you won't have any problems finding me. Some folks say that I stand out in the crowd while others say I am the crowd. Just look for the big guy with the even bigger mouth.

Sounds like Goshen will be a lot of fun, but we willbe a few miles south at the Shelbyville,In. fair grounds for the Indiana GS Fall Samboree. Maybe some other time and place we will make it to a MOC rally. We plan on being at the big rally in Louisville,Ky. next year. It should be a hoot.

Glenn that should have been doctor's orders for you to make the Rally. I am a biologist, and I can't think of a better source of healing power (except maybe one...) than for you to be in the environment that you know and love. I am very glad you are going to be with us. It seriously is not the same without you... Let the healing begin...

Glenn was the first MOC member we met at our first fall rally as we pulled into the rally area and we did not turn around and go home. He is good guy.

Well we left Clearwater this AM. Unfortunately we didn't quite make it out of Florida. We are in Lake City just a 1/2 mile off I-75. Tomorrow, barring any further problems, Florida will be in my rear view mirror.

WE awoke this AM to pouring rain and spent over 2 hours waiting for it to subside. It finally slowed and we spent over an hour dodging the rain drops. We finally got everything put away, the slides in. As I backed the TV under the pin box the front jacks worked as expected BUT when we had all the weight on the TV and proceeded to retract the jacks for travel they stopped working. Found the 40 AMP fuss blown. Replaced the fuss and as soon as Lorrane pressed the retract button the new fuss blew. Because of being soaked by the rain and sweating like a pig I was in no mood to investigate any further. Got out the hand crank and manually got the jacks up. Finally got on the road at 10:15, that's over 2 hours later than expected. As I am always off the road by 4 PM we got as far as Lake City and the Inn & Out RV Park. Got the rig on the site, hooked up the electric and water and as soon as I stepped in the trailer the ski let loose with a down pour.

Looks like a busy week in Goshen for Lorraine and I.
1st Dometic for the AC
2nd Lippert for the front jacks
3rd MorRyde for the pin box as I am noticing unusual wear on the white discs
4th PullRite for my annual hitch inspection
5th Keystone for a few minor problems.

Of course I am trying to get a lot of the list done before the rally even starts.

BTW-Let it be known, that even with these problems I still feel the Montana's are the bestPERIOD

So happy you will be in Goshen. We will still be around since we have a visit to Mor Ride for adjustments in suspension.
Looking forward to seeing you, Glen and Lorraine. Maybe we will see you at the Lux Cafe!
Have a safe trip you all!

Mosquito's are terrible here this year!
