I just couldn't help myself!!!

Got energetic this morning and updated the dock construction slideshow. I have reached the halfway point finally. Started last night on the first of four 6 ft x 16 ft sections that attach to the last added section to form the 22 ft x 24 ft platform. Then all that will be left is to add the off-side finger which will be the same as the one already installed on the left. I am trying to get DW to photograph the section launch sequence since it is kind of unique. For those who don't remember or who did not read the initial post, the dock sections are assembled in the yard (upside down), slid down a ramp to the river, then a 2x6x12 is used as a lever to flip the sections (approximately 400 pounds) into the river. The goal is to have everything complete by July 4th, then we can finally figure out when we can go camping. Typical construction times are three evenings a week (3-4 hours), Saturday (10-12 hours) and Sunday (4-6 hours). I would guesstimate, that what is shown is at about 60-70 hours currently. Here is the slideshow link again:

Phil,
We are making extra mooring available for visitor's to tie up as well. Had to make it extra large in the event that Sailer comes floating down the river in his Montana and needs a place to tie up!!. The large area (patio - 22'x 24') will be used to place a picnic table, benches and of course sunning lounges for the women of the family!!
