TIRE BALANCING

I can't believe that most all RV Manufacture's put their product on the road with out at least an initial wheel balance.

How many of you have left you Montana AS IS - without the wheels being balanced?

How bad were the results??

Would appreciate some INPUT I looked around and could not find a thread on this HOWEVER I KNOW IT HAS BEEN DISCUSSED EXTENSIVELY....

I put in the Dyna Beads in all four tires, dont have a clue if they are working or not. But figgered they could not hurt, as no weights were on any of the wheels. Maybe the company (Innovative Balancing) could give more info 1-866-352-7251. If anyone else has any experience with the Dyna beads please post so That I know what to expect. THANKS

I have not had my wheels balanced and they are wearing just fine. We have about 5000 miles on the Montana and no abnormal wear is showing.

We have a little over 40,000 miles on our 2955RL and the tires seem to be wearing good. We have Tacomas on it and rotate them occasionally but we've not balanced them. They started out with 15/32 tread depth and now are at about 9/32.

I had my wheels balanced on the coach. I had the balance done since I know how a car feels driving down the road with unbalanced tires. The viberation was enough for me, plus I wanted to do everything possible to protect the tires from a blowout or any other tread wear problems. The tires seem to be wearing well, did the balance have anything to do with this? I would like to hope so.

Got my 2955RL in May of this year, balancing all 5 fires was part of the deal. The weights on the tires ar substantial, so this tells me that the wheels were out of balance, hopefully it reduced any excessive vibration which could be good for the bearing life.

We had to have a wheel allignment as the tires were wearing. The shop who did it said he was sure it left the factory like that. Our trailer was a year old in May.
