Wall Studs

I'm installing the Carefree electric awning arms and want to run the wires from the forward arm down into the basement. I will need to run inside the wall and I was hoping to find out if there were any studs in the wall. Keystone says the wall is made up of fiberglass, 2 layers of luan, the solid foam insulation, and then the inside decorative wall. I'm not sure I by that.....does anyone have actual knowledge of the wall makeup in an '07 3400?

Thanks,

Harry

Aluminum wall studs, get up early in the morning when dew is on the outside of the rig and you can usually see their locations plainly.

I had CW install my electric awning. I had them bore the hole for the wires right above the top of the steel overhang structure into the bedroom. The wire is ran along the top of the carpet behind the bedroom dresser and under the sink. Then a hole was bored into the basement. I added a piece of molding between the drawers under the TV to the dresser on the side wall to cover the wires.

If your goal is to bore out a slot in the outer wall, there is a aluminum frame where the floor and wall meet in addition to the aluminum studs.

If you have the Oak interior, we have found the molding at Menards to match pretty close
