Accu-Pressure Safety Caps

Have any of you got experience with these things?

They replace your valve stem caps and have a little visual indicator that changes from green to yellow to red as pressure warnings. You have to buy your 'pressure' and they're about 8$ apiece. Pretty cool alternative for folks trying to stay safe and save money too.

I'm thinking about them for the TV (7 tires) with a tpms on the RV (5 tires).

I bought them, I like them. When at a rest or fuel stop, I walk around the Monte and check all tires. The next step up is the tire pressure monitoring system.

If you start to loose pressure while traveling (a nail in a tire, etc.) you won't know it until you stop and then it may be too late.

Yes, the pressure monitors are much better, but if a budget won't allow it, these monitors are better than nothing.

I've got the accupressure caps on the Monte because I haven't got around to buying the tpms as of yet. I like the idea of just walking around the Monte and seeing if the tire pressure is OK. Call me lazy I guess but it is easier than checking the pressure with a gauge ever stop. I'm hoping to put on some type of monitoring system in the near future. I already have a tire pressure monitor on the TV that is OEM but it doesn't give me a signal if I start to loose pressure from a nail or whatever. If you get the accupressure caps be sure to get the correct pressure units since they come in several pressure divisions.
