Vacation

The adventure begins. We left home on Tuesday Jan 16 and after battling snow in New York and Pennsylvania along with pot hole filled roads in Ohio arrived in New Orleans on Sat Jan 20. Since that time we have visited the French Quarter and various Plantations in Vacarie. For two rookies things are progressing quite nicely. Looking forward to Corpus Christi next week

Good to see that you got to go as planned. How did you like towing through the snow? Probably better than the potholes.
Nice to hear that everything is going well and that you are enjoying yourselves.

And as you make your way along the coast to Corpus, check out how the area is recovering from Harvey.

Massive piles of steel in the median on I35 leading into Corpus Christi and saw several boats with severe damage lying on the side of the highway. It would appear that the clean up is far from over.
