Cleaning the Carpet
The carpet is needing to be cleaned in our trailer....we have had the Monty for 4 years, and so far the carpet has remained pretty clean.
It is beginning to need cleaning....so, my question is...can anyone share with me some ideas as to how you would clean the carpet in the Montana. I am a little dubious of using a carpet shampooer on the carpet. Do any of you use a carpet shampooer?

Shirley ... Steve used Resolve for high traffic areas, a scrub brush and a lot of elbow grease and did a beautiful job on ours.

Vicki, our carpet needs attention. Could you send Steve over here so he can give us a five hour demonstration? We don't catch on very quickly....

Shirley
A little insight on carpet cleaners (I have a nephew who does this for a living and long, long ago I worked for a carpet sales place). Do not use the kind that have the 2 big round rotating brushes. We have used two different levels of Bissel cleaners on ours that have the brush like a vacuum. We have Berber carpet in our house so we can't use the big round rotating kind. When we were parked for months and months at a time we bought a smaller version and stored in a shed we were allowed to have. It worked okay also. We sold it at the garage sale.
Happy trails....................and cleaning

We use a Bissell home carpet cleaner in the Montana and it has worked fine.
